Wouter, founder of the Index Mutual agency, is a new voice in the Central and Eastern European electronic music scene. His young agency is focused on building useful connections within the industry. With years of observation of the electronic music landscape, Wouter is currently encouraging collaborations between CEE agencies and promoters with a similar vision of community. He believes in the benefits of such partnerships, yet emphasises the importance of CEE countries requiring their own economic policies and strategies, tailored to their individual contexts, instead of solely adopting Western models. Index Mutual aims to achieve a balance between independence and inclusivity.
