Simon has been responsible for the European and African label management team at The Orchard since 2018, overseeing integration projects and performing onboarding. Before that, he spent six years as head of client and label care at the German indie distributor finetunes. He entered the music industry in 1998 as a dispatcher, VA technician and FOH engineer in the live music and event sector. Subsequently, Simon lectured at the SAE Institute in Hamburg and Berlin and worked as a freelance production manager and engineer on the side. He also ran and curated an event space in Hamburg for ten years.
