MENT 2020 – SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT!

MENT has firmly established itself as one of the key festivals of its kind, encouraging and inviting applicants from all over Europe to participate in both its conference and performance schedules.«

We are happy to announce the second batch of artists who will occupy Ljubljana’s venues between 5 and 7 February and 10 new speakers who will participate in MENT conference 2020.

This year’s conference, held at
Kino Šiška and M hotel between 6 and 7 February, is divided into four interconnected sections:
EX-YU, DIGITAL, LIVE, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN.

 

Section EX-YU will include presentations of former Yugoslavia markets and a debate on touring in this region. In DIGITAL we will dissect the streaming dollar and see what’s in streaming for the underdogs. Section LIVE will bring interviews with booking agents Rob Challice (Paradigm Agency) and Clemence Renaut (ACT Live) as well as debates on Eastern European festivals and booking agents’ A&R process. Section AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN will unveil the story of Glitterbeat Records and present some effective examples of Eastern European music media. More speakers, presentations and panels will be announced in the following months. 

Finally, we announce the 4 receptions of MENT 2020: SoundCzech in Time, Austrian Heartbeats, French Pitch & Brunch and New Russian Wave.
