“Lavka bringing those Chicago House vibes to Ljubljana.”
With almost 20 years of experience, Lavka has seen many trends come and go, but his strict house, techno and wave aesthetics have remained the same, keeping him on the forefront of Slovenia’s electronic music scene. In the 2000s, he often played at the notorious Slovenian rave cathedral Ambasada Gavioli. During the tech house flood, he played Chicago and New York house at the legendary club K4 and later pushed wave and industrial sounds through his Lost Tapes night at Channel Zero. He has performed along international names at some of the biggest regional festivals and clubs and helped curate the program of Bikofest and Stiropor festivals and clubs K4 and Channel Zero. In 2017, he debuted on the first ever Boiler Room in Slovenia.
