Tittingur (Slovakia)

ELECTRONIC / EXPERIMENTAL / NOISE

"Tittingur exists in a volatile resonant space, in direct opposition to the commonly cold structures of industrial techno."

ALL THINGS LOUD

Coming from a noise rock background, Tittingur’s sonic palette grows more and more ambiguous. In their productions, we can hear robust techno structures bordering on classical music, IDM and power electronics, with heavily processed live drums, undetectable field recordings, roaring wild animals, heavy machinery sounds and rave synth stabs moving in and out of focus. Their massive tracks are without any distinguishable rhythms. Rather than focusing on progressions, Tittingur works in movements and adds new layers to their music by adding various sonic motives and forms. Their aesthetic foundations can be compared to the sonic realms of Amnesia Scanner, M.E.S.H. and Tim Hecker.
