In October 2022, the young Serbian singer and dancer Jovan Živadinović released his debut album Zapisi iz podzemlja, an intriguing collection of modern-day alternative r&b. Coming from the small town of Zaječar, this budding artist has grown a sizable audience that gets bigger by the day, and among his fans we even find last year’s Serbian Eurovision Song Contest representative Konstrakta. He is a member of the LGBTQ+ and Roma community, which is strongly reflected in his lyrics. His music has a universal appeal. As stated by the newspaper Danas, he is only one banger away from absolute national glory, which is probably happening very soon.
