Bojana Vunturišević (Serbia)

POP / TRIP HOP / DANCEHALL

"She takes a lot of elements from current music trends in the Balkans and subverts them with a more feminist edge through her lyrics and song themes. Many may draw parallels with another signee, Senidah, but I think there is ample room for both and many more other interesting female pop artists of this kind."

Bojana Vunturišević rose to regional prominence as the singer of the indie pop band Svi na pod!. After releasing two studio albums with the band, she decided to pursue a solo career. Her debut album Daljine attracted critical and commercial acclaim. She later took a hiatus from recording new music and returned in 2021 with 'Money', announcing her second album Ljubav, which was released in February this year. It was heartfully expected by fans from all over the region after the single of the same name had made waves in the last months of 2022. Vunturišević describes her style as "capitalist blues" and draws influences from indie pop, trip hop and dancehall.
