Becky has worked as a freelance publicist for 15 years, working with bands such as Cave In, Bell Witch, and 40 Watt Sun as well as various labels and events. In recent years, publicity has made way for other pursuits within the music industry and she is now part of the booking team at Roadburn Festival in The Netherlands, and product manager at Los Angeles based metal label Prosthetic. Becky has a curiosity for creativity and a keen interest in the mechanics of the industries that support it. She also writes a weekly newsletter, Slowpoke, about her adventures in music.
