After growing up on a diet of punk and hardcore, at sixteen Jakob Bekš discovered techno and electro. He soon got involved with production, co-founded the collective Scienceofuse and started to organise the Gumitwist club night at K4. The veteran DJ/producer has performed on various club nights and was included on several compilations, such as Chilli Space, K4 Format, Elektroliza, Electro City Ljubljana, Elements, Smetnjak and Stiropor. In 2015, he moved to Berlin where he co-founded Imaginary Radio Stations – a flexible music platform, podcast, cassette and event series – along with two expatriates, CP-AK and Evano. Their experimental approach to ambient music was recognised by the French label Voiceless, which included two of their tracks on last year’s compilation “V for Peace”. Following his return to Ljubljana, on May 1st he released his debut album “Microdosing Dystopia”.

*The performance will take place as part of the presentation of the compilation Senzorama.
