E-R Music Commission promotes and supports the music industry and the development of its artists and producers in the field of pop, rock, electronic, experimental music, jazz and world music. Emilia-Romagna can count on a great number of artists, small and large music producers, labels, publishers, clubs and widespread festivals in a widespread manner and not only around the regional capital Bologna. Emilia-Romagna is the second Italian region for the number of concerts and the fourth for the number of spectators and public expenditure. The Music Export project is realised in close cooperation with ATER Fondazione. The Emilia-Romagna music scene is present and active in major markets and showcase festivals throughout Europe.
