Koala Voice may not have been familiar to many before their victory in the first season of the Špil liga high school band league, but they’re now a household name among those who follow the Slovenian music scene. After the four-piece was accepted onto the Club Marathon tour and release its debut album “Kangaroo’s a Neighbour”, their mixture of rock, pop, disco, punk and an irresistible stage presence started its march on European stages. They performed at the Russian festival Wild Mint, the Serbian festival Exit, Waves Vienna and the Reeperbahn conference in Hamburg, while the UK newspaper DIY named them one of the top five discoveries of the Eurosonic festival in 2016. Having performed at the first edition of MENT, the band is returning with a bang and a freshly recorded new record, for which they are looking for a publisher. The album was produced by Danton Supple, who has in the past worked with Coldplay, Morrissey, Starsailor and Patti Smith, among others.
